Jawara Stennett was a 39 year old father of 6 children youngest to oldest 1 to 20. He loved his family and was a devoted son, husband, father and friend. He was a multitalented individual who loved to sing, write and create art in any form. He was a man of few words but knew just how to add a smile to everyone’s face. His life was tragically taken on the night of August 2, 2020. Jawara was on his way back home from attending his father’s 60th birthday the previous night. An unprovoked shooting took place as the car Jawara was traveling in entered the highway. This was an egregious callous act of violence that took place. The family is asking for donations for Jawara Stennett to help with future expenses and for the creation of a college fund for his younger children.
