In Loving Memory of Jami Hawkins – Seeking Justice and Support

On August 10, 2022, my wonderful sister, Jami, was taken from us in a way no sister or mother should ever have to endure. Her passing was not only sudden—it was wrongful. We are left with a deep, aching grief and so many unanswered questions.

Jami was more than just a sister and a daughter —she was a light in everyone’s lives. She was kind, strong, funny, and full of love. She had dreams, plans, and a heart that gave so much to everyone around her. Her absence has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

We are now faced with the unimaginable: seeking justice in drawn-out federal and state court cases that have already financially taken its toll. We never thought we’d be here—asking for help—but we know we can’t do this alone.

This fundraiser will help us:

• Support legal efforts to hold those responsible accountable

• Allow us time to grieve without the added weight of financial stress

If you knew Jami, you know how deeply she loved and how fiercely she lived. If you didn’t, we wish you had. She was truly one of a kind.
