Justice for Jackie – Help Us Find Answers
In 2007, our beloved Jackie Caroline Crazybull was tragically murdered during the Calgary Stampede. Jackie and her cousin were sharing a meal on a bench on 17th ave when a group of four individuals approached them, asking for directions. Jackie got up to help that’s the kind of caring person she was. Instead of gratitude, she was attacked. The men jumped out of a car and stabbed her.
That night, five people in Calgary were stabbed by this same group. Jackie was the only one who lost her life.
To this day — more than 17 years later — her case remains unsolved. No one has ever been charged in connection to her death. Our family has lived with heartbreak, unanswered questions, and the pain of not knowing who is responsible.
Jackie was so much more than a victim. She was a mother, a loving sister, an auntie, and a daughter. She was the heart of family gatherings, the one who kept everyone together. Since her passing, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews have been born — children who never got the chance to know her, yet whose lives have been deeply affected by her loss.
It has now been 17 Christmases, 17 birthdays, 17 Thanksgivings that we have missed with Jackie, while the people responsible have continued to celebrate those same milestones with their families.
We believe that someone out there knows the truth. Maybe a witness saw something. Maybe someone has held onto information for all these years. With your help, we want to create a reward fund to encourage people to finally come forward.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to offer as a reward for information that leads to an arrest in Jackie’s case. We hope this will be the push needed for someone to break their silence and help bring long overdue justice for Jackie.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards this reward fund. Together, we can keep Jackie’s memory alive and remind the world that her life mattered — and that she still deserves justice.
Please donate if you can, and share this campaign with others. Your support means more than words can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
