On Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 3 PM, Jack Young Tabor was stopping at the gas station to put gas into his Mothers car when he was pulled over for speeding. Jack immediately complied with officers, handing over his license, registration, and insurance.
The officers claimed they smelled marijuana and, within seconds, called for a K9 unit. Moments later, officers smashed his car window and dragged him out of his car by his hair, while one officer pointed his gun at him and his vehicle, one holding the K9 and the other hittng and arresting him. This horrifying incident was caught on video.
When Jack’s mother requested the body cam footage, the Huber Heights Police Department claimed that none of the officers were wearing body cams during the stop.
Jack was held from Saturday through Monday with no bond and no charges. Then, on Monday, August 18, 2025, he was suddenly hit with three felony charges and given a $300,000 bond.
This is someone who is quiet, respectful, a college graduate with two degrees, and has NEVER been in trouble with the law—now facing multiple felonies and an outrageously high bond.
What happened to Jack is not only unacceptable, it is a violation of his rights. No one should be dragged out of their car by their hair, threatened at gunpoint, and denied accountability from officers who refuse to wear body cams.
We need awareness, support, and justice for Jack Tabor. Please share his story, ask questions, and demand answers from the Huber Heights Police Department.
