Justice for Izaiah Rodriguez
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
With grieving hearts, we share the unimaginable loss of our dear Izaiah Rodriguez.
No parent expects the news that their child is never coming home again. You raise them well and release them to the world, hoping your babies are treated with kindness and returned to you. In the evening of June 13th, Zay didn’t return home.
My dear friends learned the next afternoon that Zay’s life was tragically taken. Words cannot express the shock that his parents, Roland and Nina, are experiencing as they have not been able to hold their child one last time due to this being an active investigation. His absence has left a deep and painful void in our lives that words can barely begin to express. Although we trust God’s timing, this angel’s life was stolen too soon.
Zay found ways to lift others with his kindness and compassion. His smile would light up any room and his laughter, it was loud and contagious. He was a sweet and funny boy, just having started his twenties in March and a new job at Chili’s. He was a role model for his little cousins and spent time with his older siblings, Alexandra and Issac, as well as his fellow riders as Empyre.
The length of this investigation is indeterminable between the police department and coroner’s office but we are slowly learning new information of this heinous crime. It isn’t expedient enough as we have so many unanswered questions! We ask for your prayers until this case is solved and that all perpetrators are brought to trial.
We are reaching out to our family, friends and community for support during this painful and complicated time. If you are unable to donate financially, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who may wish to offer their support. Any amount, no matter how small will go towards covering funeral and legal expenses, as well as supporting this family’s long road to healing and fight for justice.
We appreciate all the prayers that we’ve been receiving, and all of Zay’s wonderful friends who’ve been stopping by and held a vigil for him. Please keep talking about him! We want to make sure that Zay receives justice!
We would appreciate pictures of Izaiah, please send them to: rod412385 at gmail.com
All proceeds will go directly to Roland and Nina. Please contact me directly if you prefer another donation payment method.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers and love.
