Iggy went missing from her quiet home in Keswick, VA on the morning of March 24th. Family and friends searched non-stop for miles whilst word of her disappearance spread online. As the days went by, suspicious activity and tips surrounding her possible whereabouts came to light as her family uncovered theft, abuse, and other terrifying secrets involving local animal brokers, puppy mills, and the like. But on March 31st, Iggy was found murdered and dumped at the end of her family's driveway. Necropsy specialists were able to determine that Iggy was killed by blunt force trauma - enough force to break her ribs and puncture her diaphragm - from either being beaten or kicked. However, there is still the mystery surrounding her death of who and why and how many others. Your help, no matter how big or small, is needed to bring the heartless murderer of a young pug to justice.
Of course, Iggy was more than a pug: she was a sister (of a bonded pug pair), a mother, and a beloved family member. The "pug family" she left behind know that Iggy is missing as they look for her from room to room, some refusing to eat without her. Her devastated owners - who have spent every day with her since she was a tiny puppy - are experiencing immense grief, but promise to fight for her and honor her by carrying this fight to bring justice and freedom to the dogs and puppies impacted by these local brokers and puppy mills. This means the funds will be used to help continue the investigation surrounding her nefarious death, beef up security at her small family's farm (including trail cameras due to ongoing suspicious activity around the property, particularly the driveway), and also to support the team of professionals that will rescue & treat the other dogs in danger at the mercy of these brokers.
Thus, your help is needed as quickly as possible before the trail grows cold and before any other pet can be harmed. It is pertinent that we help NOW and spread the word to bring #JusticeForIggy.
