My name is Susan and I am reaching out to you, to help raise loss and legal funds. This is to help give peace and justice to Hiccup, a much loved dwarf miniature horse that was brutally murdered by 2 neighbor ranch dogs who trespassed on to little Hiccup's property in Nipomo California. Barbara Verlengiere who is Hiccup's human mom is devastated to have come to Hiccup's side while he bled out and passed away. These dogs need to be impounded and should not be allowed to kill another family member's animal or god forbid a child! Unfortunately, the legal system will require Barbara to seek legal representation and a civil suit against the dog owners. We are asking for help in raising the money for an attorney to get these dogs off the streets and help with the financial loss of the murder of little Hiccup. For those who know Barbara, she is not one to ever ask for help. She is a strong independent woman, an experienced animal owner and lover, an extremely responsible animal owner and just an exceptional person. I have talked her into this fundraiser, and please know 100% of the money raised will go to Barbara, her legal fees, the loss of life and Hiccup's memory.
*Let me tell you a little about Hiccup*
Barbara rescued Hiccup when he was just under the age of 1 and he was very tiny. Barbara brought him home in the back of her Prius (vehicle), she prepared and secured Hiccup's living area and had to bottle feed him daily. A very strong bond happens when so much care goes to an animal and Hiccup was a very special little mini, Barbara was in love instantly. As Hiccup grew, not much because he was a dwarf miniature horse, he loved to socialize with people and the other horses on Barbara’s property. Hiccups' future was to be an educational and emotional support horse. Barbara worked with Hiccup to be part of youth programs bringing joy, awareness, and smiles to schools, churches, health care facilities, community programs, parades, and he even participated in the Renaissance fair. In Hiccup's short life, he touched thousands of youth and adults in the Santa Maria Valley, Lompoc and Nipomo.
Help us get Justice for Hiccup, honor his memory and possibly allow Barbara to rescue another horse. Donate whatever amount you can. Please share this with your friends and family.
Thank you for caring, sharing and your support!
