Justice for Gloria: $20k Lost to Scam

My name is Gloria Monroe. I am 77 years old and live in Queens New York. I have an unfortunate story to share with everyone and am in need of your help.

I was recently scammed out of $20,000.00 life savings and have had no help from my local police precinct, my financial institution nor community.

Let me first say that I am a single elderly woman who lives alone and on social security only. I do have friends who have helped with guiding me and suggesting ways to obtain some sort of assistance with my circumstance. Unfortunately I have gotten nowhere and seem to be at a standstill.

I am in desperate need of getting back my life savings in any way I can. I must reiterate that this was all I had.

I am now asking for your help. I am setting up this gofundme account with the purpose of gaining my funds back and in the meantime seeking justice as I have to do this on my own.

I have filed a report with the Department of Justice when my local police precinct refused to take a report. I have called my bank and they indicated that they are unable to help me with my situation as they NOW can not locate any information (note: this was all started with a conversation with my bank's customer service, alerting me that someone took out a business account in my name). Again, they are now telling me I have no such account.

Currently I am awaiting the next steps on how to proceed from the Department of Justice and have filed a report with the FTC as well.

This has been a horrific experience and an extremely stressful time for me. I have worked all of my life and my entire life savings is gone. I don't know what other measures to take at this point and am reaching out for your support, prayers and any resources anyone my have.
