Justice for Glaceon

Meet Glaceon, she is my very first car and I love her dearly.

I worked hard to learn how to drive at a late age after 20 years of dreaming to drive one day. I worked hard to get to a stable enough place to one day own a car. And I finally did.

Glaceon is one of the best things to happen in my life. The feeling of being able to drive is so incredible it is hard to describe. It has entirely changed my life.

I worked hard to keep up with the high payments to keep Glaceon, but ran into some issues in summer. I kept getting sick and running into other chronic health issues and missed a lot of work. I missed my May and June payment. But I was determined to get back on track. I talked to my servicer about my medical issues and need for a payment arrangement and they agreed and were understanding. I made my payment for July. And I thought I made my payment for August.

It was scheduled to go through August 28th but when I checked a couple days later I noticed it had not gone through. So I checked my account on Saturday August 30th and saw a notice that my car was at threat of repossession. Panicked, I called and could not get ahold of anyone. I tried calling on Sunday and Monday too but no one was there because it was Labor Day weekend.

I woke up this morning, Tuesday, to find that my car was gone. Just gone. She was towed away at 3am.

I called and was informed that she was repossessed and that a payment plan or arrangement was no longer possible. I would have to pay my May, June, and August payment, in addition to several late fees, and repossession fees.

It all comes out to about $3300. And it has to be paid by September 18th or my car will be sold.

I am devastated and I miss Glaceon dearly. I am determined to do whatever it takes to get her back. My credit is too poor to take out any loans or credit cards.

I am requesting any help at all I can get. Every penny goes towards Glaceon’s safe return.
