Justice for Gio: Help Us Find the Driver

*update I think that we are very close with the proper footage that we just received to get this person arrested so I just want to say thank you to everybody that has been there for us and supportive!!!

My name is Janette, and on 3/13/2025 at 9:33 pm, my son was run over by a careless driver. Our lives changed yesterday. He is alive and well with the grace of God! But the driver left my son after she ran him over like he was nothing. After spending hours in the hospital and an endless day of searching for the driver, I am sitting here right now hopeless and fighting to find this woman.

Gio is a young, bright, and kind young man who was working on his girlfriend’s car after a long day at work when this young Hispanic lady in a black Jeep Wrangler smashed into him, ran him over, then reversed and ran him over again, and left without a care if he was alive. A miracle happened, and my son is here with us today, but I need justice and her to be found! Please support with what you can so I can get the help I need to fight another day! I need the funds for anything to do with the expenses to finding her and making a safe space so my son can do what he loves with peace of mind; his passion for working on cars! I am working with our Alderman to make changes in our community and we are working on a petition to bring more lighting on the street and speed bumps.
