Gene Morton was found on March 1, 2023 deceased from a bullet wound. His death was ruled a homicide. My brother was murdered on his own property. It has been over 2 years and still nothing. All the police, detectives, investigators involved have still not come up with an answer. Who did this to Gene?

Anyone you ask, who knew Gene, would say he was a nice guy, funny, would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He read his bible every day and tried to live by it. He mostly kept to himself. He did not have a big circle. We have been told this was not random.

We need your help. Somebody must know something. I am begging people to help. I am going to be putting out flyers, bracelets and I would like to do booths at each function this town has until we find who did this to my brother. Gene deserves at least this.

I want to get the word out. I also want to get a private investigator involved but I can’t do that without your help.
