Justice for Ethan — Help Us Fight Racial Harassment

Our 5-year-old son, Ethan, was racially harassed by a middle school student in our own neighborhood. Despite reporting the incident to the school and police, accountability remains uncertain.

We are raising funds to pursue legal action, protect Ethan’s rights, and stand against racial hate targeting children.

All funds raised will be used solely for legal consultation and litigation costs.

- If the lawsuit cannot proceed, we will refund 100% of all donations.

- If the lawsuit succeeds and there are unused funds, we will first refund contributors proportionally, and any remaining balance will be donated to civil rights organizations.

Because the goal has been far exceeded, we have decided to close the fundraiser. Our attorneys have kindly offered to represent us pro bono, so the funds raised will be placed in our attorneys’ clients’ trust account and used for court-related costs only. Because GoFundMe does not have a mechanism to issue refunds, all unused funds will be donated to one or more reputable non-profit charitable organizations committed to anti-bullying education, racial justice, and creating safer, more inclusive environments for all children.
