On May 16th, we lost a beautiful soul to senseless violence. There are no words to properly describe Emilio for he is so many things. He was kind, funny, generous, humble and had an extremely genuine heart. Most of all, he was loved by everyone who knew him. His smile alone could light up a room.

Much like there are no words to describe the amazing person we lost, there is no way to describe the way our family is feeling. We cannot express how deeply he was loved by us and everyone around him. We are truly and deeply saddened by our loss. We all are hurting and handling things the way we know how to. We are all grieving his loss.

My family thanks everyone for everything they've done for us and the support they have given us these last few days. There's nothing we or anyone else can say to make things better, all we can do is love and remember Emilio for the way he was. Kind, loving, laughing, and full of life.

Because his death was the result of a homicide, we ask if anyone has any information that could help the investigators find his killer, that they please come forward. Also any donation will help support the family during this extremely difficult time. Thank you all.
