As many of you know my mom was previously detained on July of 2025 and kept in ICE CUSTODY for 6 months. On DECEMBER 19th the immigration judge entered the final decision and granted my mother cancellation of removal for non permanent residents. She was released and made it home before Christmas. DHS appealed the decision and that puts a hold on her receiving her green card. She was again detained at an immigration appointment and taken back to ICE CUSTODY. There is no reason why she should be detained, she did not break any laws after being released and has no criminal record. We are now forced to bring this to federal court and get justice for my mother. Please help us free our mom Elvira. Every cents helps us pay for her legal costs.
