HELP US FIND DOBBY – OUR SWEET BOY IS STILL MISSING
Every Share, Every Sight, Every Dollar Helps Bring Him Home
Our beloved dog Dobby has been missing since October 16th, 2025 from Holly St in Mount Dora, FL, and we are doing everything in our power to bring him back home. These past weeks have been agonizing — not knowing where he is, if he’s safe, or if someone has him — and we are refusing to give up.
What breaks our hearts the most is the growing fear that Dobby may have been picked up or taken, which means he could be anywhere by now. Because of that, our search has gone far beyond flyers and neighborhood walks. We are expanding into:
- Professional search support
- Tracking services & pet recovery specialists
- Printed materials & signage for surrounding counties
- Advertising boosts to reach more eyes online
- Travel costs for checking leads
- Increased reward offerings to incentivize tips
We’ve already invested countless hours, resources, and every ounce of energy we have — but we need help to keep the search going strong.
WHY WE’RE ASKING FOR HELP
Finding a missing pet, especially when foul play or pickup is possible, becomes a large-scale effort very quickly. Paid search experts, expanded outreach, and verified lead checks cost money, and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to bring Dobby home. We have done the research; between investigators, drones, reward, advertisements and travel expenses we are looking at about $12-15k. We have already poured thousands into our search, this is our last resort. We’ve handed out and posted over 4,000 flyers/posters and we feel like we are getting so close but need professional help.

Dobby is a cherished part of our family — sweet, gentle, and loving. Losing him has left a painful void in our home. We cannot give up on him, and we won’t.
