Justice for Corey Adams – Help Us Find the Truth

On July 19, 2025, our beloved Corey Adams, a freshman football player at Ole Miss, was tragically murdered in Shelby County near Memphis, Tennessee.

Corey was a proud graduate of Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, where he stood out as one of the top football players in Louisiana. As a junior and senior, he earned back-to-back All-State honors and was named Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year. His incredible talent and leadership earned him early enrollment at the University of Mississippi, where he joined the Ole Miss Rebels in January 2025.

Corey was more than an athlete — he was a dedicated son, a loyal brother, and a true friend. My son was my world. I sacrificed so much to get him where he was and it was taken away from him. His smile could light up a room, and his work ethic and heart made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Corey was a young man full of drive, promise, and integrity, and he dreamed of making a difference through his talent both on and off the field.

This senseless act of violence has shattered our family and left an unfillable void in our community. As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also determined to find justice for Corey.
