Justice for Conservatives Fired by Al Mohler

Jon Harris at Conversations that Matter reported on April 22nd:

"Yesterday, in an unprecedented move, Albert Mohler, the president of the Southern Baptist's flagship seminary in Louisville, KY, fired four of the remaining conservative professors at the institution. 

"Russell Fuller, Theodore Cabal, Ken Magnuson, and Jim Orrick (who taught at Boyce College) were all terminated by provost Matthew Hall. 

"The seminary offered salary and benefits through July on the condition that non-disclosure agreements, requiring the withholding of potentially damaging information concerning the seminary and firing process, would be signed within forty-five days."

Jon Harris wrote on Twitter :

"Albert Mohler fired the conservative wing at @SBTS yesterday.

"Liberals kept their jobs.

"Fired professors asked to sign NDA "gag order" if they want benefits through July.

"To fire political opponents in the middle of quarantine... 

"I have no words."

It is not right that these men were fired.

We are raising funds to help these fired conservative professors as they are looking for new ministry placements. 

Your donations will make it easier for each of the four professors to do the right thing and refuse to sign Al Mohler's NDA.

The donations will be split evenly between any of the four men who refuse to sign the NDA.

In the event that none of the four men refuse to sign the NDA, the funds will instead be sent to Jon Harris as a way of showing appreciation for his ongoing work in telling the truth about the growing corruption in the Southern Baptist Convention.

The sooner the funds can be raised, the better.
