Donna Babcock, my cousin, is facing an unimaginable loss after her beloved husband, Chris Babcock, passed away on 3/11 after a hit-and-run in Farmville, NC. The person responsible left the scene, and Donna is now grieving the sudden loss of the person she built her life with while also searching for answers. Donna and Chris are a love story like no other. They recently moved to North Carolina so Chris could retire and enjoy the warmer weather. They were married for 30 years and loved their dogs. Chris was truly the life of the party, known for his charming personality, his hard work, and the deep love and devotion he showed Donna every day.

We are starting this fundraiser to help Donna offer a reward that may encourage someone to come forward with information. Our hope is that this support will help in the search for the individual who fled the scene and lead to an arrest, so Donna and the people who love Chris can have answers and justice.
