My name is Cheyenne. I’m a mother of four. Recently my 12 yo daughter was assaulted at school by a teacher an has since been charged with 2 felonies for defending herself. She has never been in trouble before. School officials have covered up my daughter’s assault and are painting her as a criminal. According to my child and several students who were physically present at the time of the altercation stated my daughter was grabbed by her hair and thrown into a wall and then the ground. We have been able to bring her home with the help of you all. We are still in need of support while we try to navigate life after this traumatic experience. With a loss of wages due to missing work, traveling to and from court, therapy, etc. We unfortunately are still finding ourselves in a difficult financial situation. Your support and love throughout this difficult journey has given me the strength to continue this fight as well as comfort my daughter in knowing she is not alone in this. And for that I will forever be grateful! Hold your children close and hold the school system accountable!
