Justice for Charlotte Freiny

Let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to reach out and hear people's stories. Rather you decide to help us on our journey or someone else's I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.

This is by far one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. My story will be a little different than most. We are a very independent family that always gives and never asks from anyone. I'm reaching out because as a husband that loves his wife and family very much its killing me to see the heart break of my wife and her 3 brothers.

On Jan 18th their mother Charlotte Freiny was murdered by her boyfriend.

Here is where my story is different then most. I'm going to paint the picture of the you just never know part of life.

Charlotte 62 was one of the most caring, happy, hard working, always smiling people I've known. She loved working outside in the yard and her garden was her passion. She couldn't wait for the weekends so she could be outside with her 2 puppies working in the garden. The last couple years her boyfriend/roommate had grown apart. He became very anti everything. He quit his job and started drinking heavily and using prescription drugs. He wouldn't work and wouldn't help with any chores or bills and started to become angry and mean towards her. She didn't reach out to anyone about these things and we found most of this out after the fact. She was trying to part ways as that was not who she was or how she wanted to live. On Jan 17th she went to work like any other day. She worked 2nd shift. Came home around 1030 pm to Gary being angry and arguing with her about everyday life stuff. She blew it off and got in the shower after a long work day. At 11:44 pm she txt a couple family members and said Gary is going to shoot me. Of course everyone was sleeping and woke up to this txt the next morning. Police showed up shortly after she sent these last txt to find her shot 3 times in the back and twice in the back of the head.

This coward stole my wife's and her 3 brothers mother by shooting her from behind. The police knocked on our door at 5:30am on the 18th to tell us the news.

My wife is a very strong, responsible person and is our rock in this family. She was already taking care of and making all decisions for her grandmother and now this. All money so far has came out of the family's pockets 25,000 or so probably much more by the time the fight is over. My wife has been doing paperwork and trying to figure all this out for 2 weeks straight now. Dealing with lawyers and detectives figuring out what debt and bills her mother had. Trying to keep all the payments made to keep a good name for her mother until we can figure all this out. I'm really not looking for a handout as God will only deal you what you can handle. We will recover financially at some point. I just want my wife back. She has not been the same since that knock on the door and I understand completely. I guess I am looking to show her love and support and maybe take some financial stress off of her mind.

I really just want to see Justice for Charlotte Freiny and her family.

Oh 1 more thing. Please get a will even if you think your to young or it won't happen yet. Making the unknown decisions is one of the hardest things your children will ever have to do.

 

P.s. either way would be wonderful lol but I would rather see 20,000 people give $1 to show support then 1 person give $1,000,000.
