Justice for Carmen: Uncovering the Truth

My name is Rocelyn Jimenez and I’m raising money in memory of my grandmother, Carmen N Gonzalez Melendez ,who passed away on December 1, 2024, after being hospitalized in Puerto Rico. Her death was listed as being caused by COVID-19 and Influenza A & Pneumonia , but what we’ve uncovered in the months since has made our family question everything.

For six months, we grieved without answers. It wasn’t until we started asking questions that the hospital finally told us she had fallen during her stay something they never mentioned before. That alone raised serious concern. But as we continued digging, we found even more red flags: nurse notes edited multiple times after her death, inconsistent reports, and questionable timelines.

We now believe there may have been medical negligence, and we’re raising money to cover the legal fees needed to investigate, hire the right professionals, and fight for the truth.

Carmen was the heart of our family that loving, vibrant, and full of life. She deserved honesty and proper care. We’re doing everything we can to get justice in her name.

Mi nombre es Rocelyn Jiménez y estoy recaudando fondos en memoria de mi abuela, Carmen N González Melendeź, quien falleció el 1 de diciembre de 2024 tras ser hospitalizada en Puerto Rico. Su muerte fue reportada como causada por COVID-19 e Influenza A,& Pneumonia pero lo que hemos descubierto en los meses siguientes nos ha hecho cuestionarlo todo.

Durante seis meses estuvimos de luto sin respuestas. No fue hasta que empezamos a hacer preguntas que el hospital finalmente nos dijo que ella se había caído durante su estadía algo que nunca se nos mencionó antes. Eso por sí solo fue alarmante. Pero al seguir revisando sus récords médicos, encontramos aún más señales preocupantes: notas de enfermería editadas varias veces después de su fallecimiento, informes contradictorios y líneas de tiempo confusas.

Ahora creemos que pudo haber habido negligencia médica, y estamos recaudando dinero para cubrir los gastos legales necesarios para investigar, contratar a los profesionales adecuados y luchar por la verdad.

Carmen era el corazón de nuestra familia, vibrante y llena de vida. Ella merecía honestidad y un cuidado digno. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para obtener justicia en su nombre.
