On December 19th, 2016 Carly was walking home from Starbucks located in the Bayhill Shopping Center in San Bruno. At 5:33 p.m. she was crossing San Bruno Avenue and was hit in the crosswalk by a white SUV. The driver fled the scene leaving her to die. She was transported to San Francisco General Trauma Center where she was immediately taken to surgery for extensive brain injuries. She never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead two days later. Carly was only 29 years old. She was born and raised in San Bruno attending John Muir Elementary, Parkside Middle School and Mills High School. She worked at Tanforan Century Theater and was a volunteer at The Peninsula Humane Society. She was an avid painter and illustrator and a black belt in Tae Kwan Do.
We are starting this funding campaign because we need the public's help. The money raised is for a reward to anyone who can provide San Bruno Police with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for Carly's death. If this goal is not reached, we will use the funds to hire a private investigator to look into the case and possibly identify a suspect.
Thank you for contributing to our effort to get Justice For Carly.
