Allow me to share the affect that Carlos' detention has had on his family, translated from a statement in Spanish provided by his wife:

"We were called to a family appointment and my husband was detained unjustly. He has been detained since August 30th.

He is a good father and a good husband; a hard worker and an honest man.

Since he was detained, my son has anxiety and has emotionally regressed. His performance in school has changed. He is in fourth grade but in these last eight months his abilities have declined as if he were a first grade student

My little boy is crying a lot for his father and my daughter as well. My husband was always a loving and present father. He always came home from work and spent time with the kids.

Today, I have faith in God that if I submit the Habeas Corpus that costs six thousand dollars, my husband will be freed by the honor and glory of God. And I will be very grateful. "

Carlos' wife also added that the four family members used to go to church together, and now only three of them can go. She shared a photograph of the four of them going to church, which I will share here, as well.

We can help reunite this family! I ask for generosity and kindness for these people subjected to wanton suffering.
