My name is Jane Lusty. Nearly 10 years ago, my son, Austin Lusty, was killed. A suspect was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and released the next day. Despite the presence of multiple witnesses, conflicting statements resulted in the case not moving forward. We were told there was nothing that could be done.

Time has passed, but unanswered questions remain. Evidence exists, and witnesses are still alive. I believe my son deserves the same justice any family would hope for. This reframes time as not too late!

I will use the funds to seek independent legal and investigative help to review the case, obtain records, and pursue any civil or legal avenues which may still exist. Funds will be used for attorney and expert review and legal costs.

Justice should not disappear simply because time lapses or stories conflict.
