On April 5th, 2025, our beloved Ashlee Long was senselessly taken from us during a tragic act of violence in downtown Dallas. In the months since, our family has been fighting every day to seek justice — not just for Ashlee, but for all innocent lives affected by violent crime.

We are now preparing for a long and difficult trial process. This GoFundMe has been set up to help cover critical expenses along the way, including legal costs, frequent travel to and from Dallas for court hearings, accommodations, and the ongoing management of Ashlee’s advocacy efforts — including public outreach for stronger bond reform laws.
