My name is Samantha and I am raising money for the legal fees needed to begin pursuing a case against the people responsible for my younger sister Amanda's death.

Last year, Amanda had just turned 20 years old when she passed away in a bed at a mental health and wellness center at 9 AM Monday morning, June 16th, 2025. She was a bright young girl with adoring friends and family. For the past 9 months, we have been reaching out to attorneys endlessly and have finally found one who is willing to help us. We need to raise $4,000 in order to request the records from the center where she died that they have been refusing to provide us with and have an expert review those records.

This is the first step we must take to start building a case. Times have been tough both emotionally and financially. We have not yet even been able to purchase Mandy a headstone, but I truly believe it necessary to pursue justice first because we only have about 2 and a half months left to do so before the statute of limitations in California is up.
