Justice for Allen – Standing for Safer Roads, Stronger Laws
He was building safer roads. An impaired driver took his life.
On July 31, 2025, Allen Adams was killed in a work zone by a repeat offender who should never have been behind the wheel. He leaves behind his wife, Melissa, their children, and his grandson, Tr3s, whom he was raising.
We’re fighting for double sentences for drivers who kill in work zones and triple sentences for repeat impaired drivers who kill in work zones.
Your donation helps us push for these laws, support Melissa as she navigates life without her husband, honor Allen’s memory, and protect every worker risking their life on the road at night.
1. The Problem
Work zones should be safe places for the men and women who risk their lives to keep our roads maintained and repaired. But right now, they aren’t. Impaired and repeat offenders continue to drive through them recklessly, turning job sites into danger zones. Allen’s death is one of too many tragedies caused by weak laws and lenient sentences.
2. The Solution
The Justice for Allen campaign is fighting to change that by pushing for stronger New Jersey laws:
- Double sentences for offenders who kill or injure in work zones.
- Triple sentences for repeat impaired drivers who kill in work zones.
- End plea deals that let repeat offenders walk away with light punishment.
We are raising awareness, collecting signatures, and telling Allen’s story so his death will lead to laws that protect workers and hold dangerous drivers fully accountable.
3. The Gap / Barrier
Without legislative change, impaired and repeat offenders will keep taking lives and walking away with minimal punishment. Work zone safety is treated as secondary, and families like ours are left grieving while the system fails to deliver true justice.
4. How Supporters Become the Heroes
Every person who donates, signs our petition, or shares Allen’s story becomes part of the solution. Your support helps:
- Fund awareness events and safety campaigns.
- Reach lawmakers with public pressure to pass stronger laws.
- Honor Allen with a memorial bench placed alongside his late father-in-law, Bruce Stewart.
- Provide continued support for Melissa and Tr3s.
When you act, you’re not just helping one family—you’re protecting every road crew and every driver who passes through a work zone.
5. What Supporters Receive
When you contribute, you’re joining a fight that will save lives and change laws. You’ll receive updates on campaign progress, legislative wins, and memorial projects funded by your generosity. Most importantly, you’ll know you helped turn tragedy into lasting change.
Be part of the change. Stand with Melissa. Stand with Tr3s. Stand for Justice for Allen.
