Justice for Alice Correia Barbosa
Donation protected
Alice Correia Barbosa is a Brazilian trans woman currently in U.S. immigration custody. What began as a normal day with friends unexpectedly turned into a very difficult situation, and she now needs our collective support to navigate the legal and personal challenges ahead.
My name is AJ Timoteo and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my close friend, Alice Correia Barbosa, who is currently going through an immigration process that prevents her from directly managing this campaign herself.
Alice is a vibrant person, a talented volleyball player, and a beloved daughter and friend. Her energy, kindness, and joy brighten every space she enters. She deserves dignity, safety, and fair treatment during this process. We are raising funds to cover her legal representation, daily needs, and essential support while she faces this difficult moment.
Your donation—no matter the size— will be used for the following:
•To cover the cost of professional support and guidance for her immigration process.
•To provide for her essential daily needs, including commissary, communication, hygiene items, and medications.
•To help with basic expenses during this transition period.
This campaign is about standing with Alice, showing her she is not alone, and helping her move forward with dignity and care.
Since Alice cannot personally manage this fundraiser, I am helping on her behalf. Any remaining funds will be delivered directly to Alice as soon as she is able to personally receive them.
Alice has a strong, supportive community of friends here, while her family continues to encourage her from abroad. I am simply serving as the point person to make sure donations are used responsibly, transparently, and in Alice’s best interest.
Every contribution makes a real difference. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign to help bring Alice home safe.
Thank you again for taking the time to hear Alice's story, and for supporting us during this nightmare.
