Our hearts are shattered as we face a tragedy no family should ever endure. My son, Alex Canizales, has passed away this Monday morning.  A vibrant, devoted father, son, and member of our family who deserved so much more life than he was given.

Alex leaves behind five beautiful children who adored him: his 11 year old son, his 9 year old daughter, his 4 year old baby girl, as well as two teenage stepchildren a boy and a girl whom he loved and raised as his own. All of them will now grow up without their father. He was deeply committed to his kids and worked tirelessly to provide them with stability, love, and joy. Anyone who knew Alex knew how hard-working, determined, and dedicated he was, not just as a father, but as a person with dreams, goals, and a future he was actively building.

Alex had a big heart and an even bigger circle of people who loved him. This loss has devastated our family in ways we are still struggling to comprehend. No parent should have to bury their child, especially under these circumstances. 

We are asking for support during the most painful moment of our lives. All donations will go directly to me, his father, to cover Alex’s funeral services and expenses, ensuring he receives the dignified and heartfelt goodbye he truly deserves.
