Devaughn “DEEZO” Pita was truly one of a kind — smart in every way, quick with a joke, an incredible athlete, and someone whose energy could light up any room. He never hesitated to help anyone, no matter the circumstances.

He was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. So many people loved him deeply, and losing him has left an unfillable hole in our hearts and our family.

Now, we’re facing the heavy emotional and financial burden of giving Devaughn the farewell he deserves — an open casket service so that everyone who loved him can say their goodbyes. The costs are overwhelming, but we are determined to honor his memory while fighting for justice in his name. His son, our mom, grandma, aunty, siblings, and I are all feeling this loss in the deepest way.
