Courtney Chandler, also known as Avery, was a beloved sister, daughter, granddaughter, and so much more. She was tragically murdered in her apartment in Ramona, California, while on deployment with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, alongside another individual.
Courtney was truly the life of the party. She loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors, serving her country, and anime. Every Thanksgiving, she insisted on making the turkey for her family and friends. Her birthday is coming up on July 24, when she would have celebrated her 29th birthday. The thought of facing that day without her is something we never imagined we’d have to endure.
Her loss has shattered her family and friends, and we are doing everything we can to honor her memory while navigating unimaginable grief.
We are raising funds to help our family through the many unexpected financial burdens and immediate needs that have come with this devastating tragedy. Your generosity will allow our family to focus on supporting one another, taking the time we need to grieve, and honoring Courtney’s life and legacy during this incredibly difficult time.
Every donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to contribute, please consider sharing Courtney’s story and keeping our family in your prayers. Thank you for standing beside us, remembering the incredible person Courtney was, and keeping her memory alive.
