Justice and Support for CJ Miller and his Family

Our community lost an incredible soul when CJ passed away far too soon. CJ was the kind of person who lit up every room he entered - he had the biggest heart of anyone we knew, was full of empathy, and genuinely cared about everyone around him with every ounce of his being. He was funny, had the best contagious laugh, he was loyal, and was the type of person who would drop everything to help someone in need. CJ touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and love.

CJ had struggled with addiction in the past but had overcome it for a vast extended period of time. Unfortunately, a sudden relapse led to a tragic overdose. What makes this loss even more devastating is that CJ could have survived. The individuals who were with him and witnessed this overdose turned a blind eye and failed to call for help for over 12 hours, leaving him clinging for life on a bathroom floor. Medical experts have confirmed that if an ambulance had been called promptly, CJ would still be with us today.

This wasn’t just a tragedy - it was a preventable loss caused by the negligence and inaction of those who should have sought help immediately. CJ’s family is now working with an attorney to hold these individuals accountable for their actions and to seek the justice that CJ deserves.

CJ’s family have always been pillars of our community - they’re the kind of people who would give their last dollar to help a neighbor in need. They’ve supported countless people through difficult times, and now they need our support as they face the devastating loss of their beloved son and the financial burden of pursuing justice.

100% of these proceeds will be used for legal fees to bring justice to CJ for the individuals responsible for his death. Any and all proceeds thereafter will be used for end-of-life costs, and to support CJ's daughters and family.

No family should have to choose between seeking justice for their child and managing the costs of saying goodbye. CJ’s memory deserves justice, and his family deserves our support as they fight for accountability.
