My name is Jett, and I am a disabled veteran living with PTSD, a spinal injury and ongoing cancer treatments or surgeries. Over the past year, I have faced overwhelming challenges, including cancer recovery and living in conditions that are unsafe and uninhabitable. My home had suffered from repeated flooding and rotting wood. Bugs have infested every room of my apartments from my bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, inside both my freezer and fridge. I’m unable to cook, eat shower or sleep without them going into my eyes and mouth. Despite my best efforts to address these issues I had been unable to secure better living conditions. This has resulted in thousands of dollars in property damage and the loss of essential supplies like food and medication, all while I continue to manage my health and well-being.

I am now seeking help recovering losses and moving into a livable apartment . The funds raised will help with living expenses like a security deposit, few months rent, and to replace lost expenses like food for me and my service animal. I am also hoping to address the health complications and the mental and physical pain I have experienced as a result of these living conditions. Your support will help me pursue stable living conditions and focus on my recovery during this difficult time.
