My son, Dr. Jabari Nicholls, was a brilliant and dedicated young physician whose life was tragically cut short under circumstances that remain deeply troubling. From an early age, Jabari showed exceptional promise—starting school at age two, skipping grades in elementary school, and graduating at the top of his class from Wyandanch Memorial High School two years early. He chose Binghamton University over Ivy League schools and went on to graduate from Trinity University School of Medicine with six honors and a near-perfect GPA. His commitment to medicine and public service was unwavering, and he was preparing himself to make a lasting impact on the world.
On September 4th, 2024, Jabari successfully completed his AMA certified examination in San Bernardino Rancho Cucamonga. Hours later, he was found deceased in his gated community home, nearly 73 miles from the examination center. The circumstances surrounding his death are highly questionable, with many discrepancies that demand answers. His pet Chihuahua was found emaciated, and his body remained in the apartment for days despite emergency personnel and police being notified of an exigency. It was only after a civilian entered the apartment on September 8th that Jabari’s body was discovered, raising further concerns about the response and handling of the situation.
I have exhausted my resources supporting Jabari’s medical education, and now I am seeking your help to cover the extensive legal fees required for a thorough investigation. A law firm has quoted a significant amount to handle the complexity of the case, including exhumation, witness questioning, document gathering, and court challenges. In addition to seeking justice for Jabari, I am committed to establishing a scholarship fund in his name to encourage and support young people who aspire to excellence in medicine, just as he did. Your support will help me fight for the truth and honor Jabari’s legacy, inspiring future generations to follow in his footsteps.
