On June 22nd around 3 a.m. , Cody was walking home from work with two friends when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Less than two weeks after his 24th birthday, he found himself in the emergency room with multiple injuries. After having to undergo surgery and a multiple-night stay in the hospital, he has been left with numerous medical bills as a result of a poor decision by a senseless individual.
Cody has been remaining incredibly positive throughout this tragedy, thankful to be alive and ecstatic no one else was hurt. Him and his friends have been making jokes about the incident the whole time, a testament to his unwavering optimism. Unfortunately, Cody has minimal insurance and will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.
