Wednesday, my brother's dog, is a beloved family pet who has always been a gentle sweetheart. Yesterday, tragedy struck when the neighbor's dog broke through the fence into my brother's yard and began fighting with Wednesday. The fight lasted less than a minute before the neighbor shot Wednesday, leaving her bleeding on the patio for hours. My brother was not notified until much later, and immediately rushed her to the ER, where she underwent emergency surgery. The bullet passed straight through her, missing all organs but grazing her arm and causing a fracture. The vet believes the man was standing directly above her when he fired, as the gun burned the hair off her back. Despite clear evidence, the police have not been helpful, and we are fighting for justice for Wednesday.

Wednesday now faces extensive medical bills and needs another surgery for her fractured leg. She is stable, but her recovery will be long and difficult. The funds raised will go directly toward her medical expenses and ongoing care, giving her the best chance to survive and walk again.
