Justice for Missy

A family is shattered. A little girl is gone. Three siblings are left behind.

We are raising funds for the loving and heartbroken grandparents who are now the guardians of their three surviving grandchildren after the tragic loss of their granddaughter, Missy, due to abuse and violence committed by her mother and stepfather.

Missy, just 5 years old, was taken from this world far too soon. She was a bright, sweet soul who deserved nothing but love and safety. Her tragic death has devastated the entire family and community.

In the wake of this unimaginable trauma, her grandparents are now caring for the three surviving children, providing them with the love, safety, and support they so desperately need.

This GoFundMe will help cover the unexpected funeral expenses for Missy, emergency needs for the three surviving siblings (clothing, food, therapy, school supplies, etc.), and counseling and trauma recovery for all involved.

No one should ever have to bury a child or be forced to choose between grieving and surviving. Every donation—no matter the amount—will make a direct and meaningful impact on this family as they try to rebuild from tragedy.
