Victim of Exploitation within the La Luz del Mundo Church
As a victim of the extensive racketeering and child exploitation enterprise led by Naasón Joaquín García and his co-defendants, I have endured unimaginable trauma at the hands of those who manipulated faith for their own illicit desires. For decades, the Joaquín LLDM Enterprise exploited vulnerable members of the La Luz del Mundo Church, using their power and influence to facilitate systemic sexual abuse. This abuse was often shrouded in the guise of religious doctrine, instilling fear and obedience among followers.
Throughout my experience, I witnessed the devastating impact of manipulation, coercion, and violence used to silence victims. The defendants, including García and his close associates, were part of a culture that prioritized their gratification over the safety and dignity of individuals within the Church community.
As part of a courageous group of survivors, I am determined to speak out against the injustices endured and seek justice for the countless victims affected by this heinous enterprise. This is why I am launching a GoFundMe campaign—to raise awareness and support for myself and other survivors as we navigate the challenges of healing and legal battles.
With the recent unsealing of the indictment against García and others, I hope to shed light on the truth and encourage others to come forward. It is time to break the silence and hold accountable those who exploited their positions of power, ensuring that such abuse is never tolerated again.
