Arthur was my nephew, and our family is raising funds after he was killed by a motor vehicle on Lowdermilk Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. It happened on October 26 around 7:16 p.m. Arthur's mother had just gotten off work, and he was excited to go play with the neighborhood kids. In a matter of moments, our family lost him, and that kind of sudden loss is impossible to put into words.

Arthur was just a child looking forward to an ordinary evening outside. Instead, his mother and the rest of our family are now facing the heartbreak of planning a funeral while trying to process what happened. We are grieving this loss every day, and we are also seeking justice for Arthur.

The donations from this fundraiser will help cover Arthur's funeral costs and any legal fees that may come up as the family pushes for answers and accountability. Having help with these expenses would take some of the immediate financial pressure off the family during an already devastating time.
