The tragic events of May 8, 2019 will never be forgotten by the Chavez Family. Just two days away from graduating High School, Lloyd Alvin Chavez IV was taken from this life by a senseless crime. While trying to rob him, Lloyd was gunned down in front of his home by four assailants as his sister was inside watching television, and his Father was at work.
His Dad (Lloyd III) and Siblings were only just beginning to heal from the devastation when they learned that one of the FOUR Felons was to be released last week, after serving just 22 MONTHS !?!? Due to the extremely lenient nature of the plea deal, and some fancy footwork by a high priced lawyer, this accessory to MURDER is now free. A second Convict is soon to follow in being granted their freedom.
However the law provides an option for this family to find some measure of Justice in all this ... Justice 4 Lloyd!!! Legal action in Civil Court is their only recourse, but solid representation comes at a price. That is why this Go Fund Me has been created, to raise the retainer fees and related expenses when filing potentially four separate law suits. Due to the the slow pace of the court during C-19 and the statute of limitations, time is running out.
