Family Support - Justen Kauhi Currington - "Kū"

Dear Ohana and Friends,

With a heavy heart, I am announcing the passing of Justen Kauhi Currington; our Brother "Kū". For those of you who knew him, you knew that he was a fighter. He had just turned 44 this past month in Sep. For those of you who did not have the pleasure of knowing Kū, he was strong in his faith and carried a strength of spirit within him that immediately spread to others around him. He was a devoted son, husband, father, uncle, and brother, always thinking of others first.

Kū would always say that family was everything - he lived by this mantra. He is survived by Father Delano Roosevelt, Mother Charlene Nalani, Brother Jonathan Keali’i Sr, Niece Jocelyn Leilani, Nephew Jonathan Keali’i Jr, Wife Stacie, Son Noah Kela, and Daughter Charlotte Ekahiheleoka’haku. He brightened the lives of so many with his strength of character and selfless nature.

His "Passion for the Ride" was always felt as we would always see a text from him, "Let's Mob!!" to his Bruddahz. Kū was a rare Bruddah; Heaven truly gained a true SAVAGE. You may be gone from our sight but you will never be gone from our hearts. Your mana will forever be a part of us.

Rest in Love my Brother.

As you can imagine, Kū's family was not prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and cremation; Kū did not have life insurance. Additionally, your donation will help sustain his immediate Ohana as they try to find their way to establishing a life without Kū.
