On October 9th 2020 Justen was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. Though we are not sure what stage he is currently at we find it safe to assume that the process will not only be difficult and tedious but also have an impact that none of us can foresee.
Justen is a hard working family man with three children, one grandson, and two more on the way; as well as playing a major roll in the lives of Mindy's two kids and grand baby that he calls his own. Justen is also the owner of a carpentry company that makes some of the most beautiful carpentry work you can imagine. There is hardly a time that you find him without a smile on his face or cracking some kind of jokes. Anyone who knows Justen knows his ability to make a tense situation more comfortable and put a smile on your face when you need it most. Now its our time to return the favor for the man that would give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket.
When the global pandemic hit earlier this year Justen's wife furloughed from her job thus causing him to his source of medical insurance. With Justen taking the financial hit to his company during this time as well as losing his medical insurance there could not be a worse time to receive the news of cancer. That is the reasoning behind starting this fundraiser. The cost of medical expenses for whatever the possible needed treatment is astronomical even with insurance let alone with out. So, we ask that you could find it within yourselves to donate what you can and pray as often as possible. It is beyond difficult to ask for help financially especially in times of economic unrest caused by the world health crisis.

All of the money that is raised through this campaign as well as any others that may be set up in Justen's name will go directly to helping with his treatment that he will be receiving and living expenses due to him being the sole source of house hold income.
