Donation protected
It is with full and aching hearts that we share that Robert (Bob) Unger Jr. passed away on Feb 15, 2021 and embraced his reward in heaven. Bob leaves behind his wife, Joyce, of 49 years and sons, Rob and Ryan, brothers and sisters, and the countless friends he has made around the world.
Always in a mood for a new adventure and making new friends, he could be found behind the wheel of a vehicle more often than not. Bobs place was often with his wife and a bus full of friends adventuring to the next great "Yes". He loved nature, escaping to the mountains, walking on the beach, or exploring the streets of international countries. It was because of the love of sharing Jesus that he was able to touch the hearts and lives of so many people.
He would lure you in with his mischievous smile and quick witted humor in his eagerness to teach you a new game be it with cards, dice, or dominos. Whether he won or lost, he was always eager to get you to play again.
But most of all it was his love of the Lord and a life filled both with prayer and action that marked the tribute to the man he really was. He let the love of Jesus guide him, he wasn't pushy, and he never thought less of others. As a good father does, he gave hope and guidance, he encouraged, he laughed, and he provided wisdom to young and old alike.
This loss was greatly unexpected and we encourage you to share with us about how he touched your life. Share with us your favorite memories, jokes he told, and stories so that we may know how he impacted you. Since this was such a sudden occurrence any donations to help offset the medical/funeral costs would be greatly appreciated.
We will let you know of when a Celebration of life will be held. Thank you for your love, prayers, and encouragement during this time. May God bless you.
Joyce, Rob, and Ryan
Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me. For You are the God of my Salvation: on You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:4-5.
