I hate that I even have to come back here, but here I am. In 2022, I began my Master’s of fine arts program and creative writing at Albertus Magnus College, with the goal of fostering a love of writing in the students I currently teach. As some of you may know, I teach in a school in a district that has a myriad of discrepancies in terms of achievement, and more than anything, my kids need a teacher like me, who loves these kinds of things, to teach them to love them as well.

Currently, I am six credits away from being able to graduate in May, and I’ve hit a SERIOUS bump in the road. My school’s financial aid department is stating that I’ve exhausted all funds, and can borrow no more.

Currently, $3820 is needed to achieve this goal. I have been applying for varying scholarships and grants as I can’t get a cosigner for a loan. I’m asking for $4000, Which will cover my coursework, as well as any incidentals that may come up.
