Pull through for Chris
Chris Evans is a familiar star at the Noon ride.
Recently Chris got hit by a car as he was crossing Highway 84 at Alameda going northbound. The light turned yellow and before Chris was able to exit the intersection he was struck by an SUV traveling west going approximately 35 or 40 mph per witnesses.
Chris's injuries are thankfully limited to bones, a broken left wrist and a very broken open fracture on the right femur which has already been fixed by the ortho. Chris's bike and equipment was also heavily broken, and the friends of Chris and the Noon ride want to send Chris some love and perhaps a few bucks to help donations and they can use for meals/babysitting while Chris’s wife visits him in the hospital. Hopefully this will help him heal up faster and get back on his bike sooner.
From Chris:
All of the outreach has really helped. I love this community.
