So far, I’ve had spine surgery, 15 staples to my left thigh, 7 stitches to my head and dozens of lacerations, cuts, scrapes and bruises.
Zero broken bones :-) I’m lucky
Hi I don’t know if you remember me or not. I’m Mott Kornicki - on 7/10/2022 I was hit by a drunk driver on Collins and 177th Street ⛱️ Sunny Isles Beach, Florida - I was walking. I suffered a broken foot, drop foot, head and neck injuries and spinal surgery. The medical expenses came out to $1.8 Million Dollars according to my Personal Injury lawyer Meier of Ft. Lauderdale, FL Then, 12/10/2022 - My right leg and foot was amputated from just below the knee - that was my fault - I neglected my chronic diabetes for too long. I have been unable to work for the past 5 months. I’ve been in and out of the hospital and am now at Villa Maria nursing home in North Miami, Florida I have always been a positive look at the bright side, nothing is impossible person …. This could never happen to me - but it did. Count your blessings - of course things could always be better, but they could easily, in the blink of an eye ️ be so much worse. ❤️ Warm Regards, MMK
Just earlier in the day I went to Aventura Mall Lululemon - here I got some new socks, a new hat and some other stuff!
I also went to Apple Store Aventura to make an appointment to replace my iPhone 13 Mini Battery…. Just when I was done charging my phone, an #Apple Store Employee gave me a nice MacBook Pro Laptop. Told me “Hey, Sir; You forgot your Mac Book - Not True! This was “Entrapment by Apple!
Was a good day al in all.
Now, I’m unable to work for the most part - I will need to check into a physical rehabilitation hospital - I’m in one now; Got fitted and casted for a prosthetic leg and foot 2 days ago! I’m at Villa Maria of North Miami, Florida and I’ll need a bit of self care.
