Fighting pancratic cancer starting chemo

Hi my name is Kathy Santulli and I am starting a fundraiser for my loving husband Will Santulli who was diagnosed with a tumor on the head of his pancreas on 10/28/2022. This has caused the pancreas to stop working. He became a instant type 1 diabetic practically over night. His pancreas is not producing digestive enzymes which is not breaking down his food. The poor man can barely eat anything as he went from 320 lbs down to 250lbs in less than 2.5 months. He starts chemo on the 17th of January for 4 to 5 months, then radiation. He needs a 7 hour surgery called Whipple as well after the chemo and radiation. He will be in the hospital for at least a month. They have to remove the tumor, half the pancreas, his gallbladder, lymph nodes, a portion of his stomach and part of his intestines. He will have 3 drainage tubes for about a month, then they will have to re-attach everything. He stopped working because of his severe stomach pain. He became a type 1 diabetic because the tumor is pressing on 2 main veins not allowing the blood flow properly to the pancreas. His insulin is $240.00 every 28 days after insurance pays, not including all of his other expensive medicine. We are swimming in debt from medical bills. Every visit is a $50 copay. His scans and chemo and hospital bills are going to be in the tens of thousands. Just the fuel to drive to the hospital daily is insanely expensive. His interview for SSDI is not until the end of February. I am the only one working at the time because he has Dr appointment every day until the end of January and his severe pain. He just got his port in yesterday and starts chemo on the 17th of January. My crappy job does not pay well and I have $600 a month taken out for health insurance premiums. We are struggling really bad right now. Anything you could donate would be a blessing. I am trying to get a second job as we speak. I know everyone is financially struggling right now so if you can't donate I understand all I ask is for prayers and if you could share this to get it out there.
