Ka’Myah was a healthy newborn and was mostly throughout her childhood. In September 2020 we noticed lumps in her body that was overlooked by a pediatrician she had been taken to. After months of testing at different facilities as well as multiple labs having to be drawn on Christmas Eve she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 2A Bulk. After that day, that diagnosis shook our family. We prayed and started doing our own research to be more familiar with everything. In January Ka’myah’s port was placed in her chest and she started her Chemotherapy treatments. Along this journey we have learned that Insurance (she was denied by Medicaid) does not cover all that we may think it does. Her medicine along with daily injections and tests aren’t covered by insurance and Mom & Dad have had to pay for these things so that she can continue her treatments and getting the things that she needs. In hopes of creating this fundraiser is to help with medical expenses, and also for anything she may need along the way.
