Needing a little help getting caught up on bills

Donation protected
My name is Jennifer. My husband, Josh and I run a small online business through Etsy and Ebay called Johnny Compost. We started this business in 2018 while we were living in our tiny camper, with 2 3D printers, moving from one national forest to another nearly every 2 weeks. We eventually settled in Tesuque, NM in 2019 as our business grew and we obviously needed more space for more equipment. We ended up in a small 2 bedroom apartment where most of that space was consumed by our business, etc, supplies, inventory and nearly 20 3D printers. We were making it work with the space we had. On June 30, 2023 we had just gotten home from a hike with our dog. I went up to our apartment with our dog as Josh was gathering stuff from the car he was approached by 2 masked men with guns and knives who were trying to force him into his own vehicle. Luckily I went outside to see what was going on and the 2 men took off running leaving them unsuccessful in their attempt to kidnap him and they had gotten away. The next 2 months following this incident were extremely difficult as we became prisoners of our own apartment. We never left the apartment without the other even if to just take trash to the dumpster that was 20 feet away. We didn't feel safe anymore and knew that we had to leave. Our apartment complex was giving us a hard time about breaking our lease which made the situation even more difficult. Before this situation happened we were working diligently in lauching new products for our business but everything kind of stopped when the attempted kidnapping happened. We had to focus on finding somewhere where we felt safe. We finally found the perfect house with the perfect workshop in a cute little mountain town in another state and began our move. Which also meant that our business had to be put on hold while doing so. We have drained all of our assets including savings and investments due to this situation. Our landlords have been very patient with us but not sure for how much longer. I've recently started a full time job but we have been behind on rent and bills for the last several months and its been hard getting caught up. We just need that extra little boost in order for us to not lose everything we have worked so hard to build. Funds will go towards past due rent and utilities. The last thing we wanted to do was have to ask for help but we have run out of options so here we are. I know times are tough but if you can find it in your heart to help us a little bit, we would greatly appreciate it. If you'd like to donate but not through GoFundMe, please message me on Facebook. Thanks for taking the time to read our story.

Sincerely, Josh and Jennifer
