Hello, my godmother is an immense star in this life. She is 71 years old and is a brilliant woman who, in her younger years, was an employee of PDVSA and INTESA, where she left a mark with her effort and example.

Today she is facing a tough battle: she was diagnosed with locally advanced unresectable head of pancreas cancer.

Since mid-2023, she has bravely fought with a treatment regimen of 6 cycles of Chemotherapy with Nab-Paclitaxel and Gemzar, complemented by 25 sessions of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. After 16 months of remission, during the check-up in August 2025, the reappearance of the local tumor of the disease was unfortunately confirmed.

The medical team indicated that it is necessary to start first-line treatment with the Folfirinox regimen, planned with 6 cycles of treatment and reevaluation of response to this treatment scheme, in an attempt to stop or prevent the progression of the cancer.

The estimated cost to meet all the treatment is 25,000 dollars, an amount that our family cannot cover alone.

Hola, mi madrina es una estrella inmensa de esta vida. Tiene 71 años y es una mujer brillante y en sus años mozos fue empleada de PDVSA e INTESA, donde dejó huella por su esfuerzo y ejemplo.

Hoy está enfrentando una dura batalla: Fue diagnosticada con cáncer de cabeza de páncreas localmente avanzado irresecable. Desde mediados del 2023 ha luchado con valentía, con tratamiento de 6 ciclos de Quimioterapia con Nab-Placlitaxel y Gemzar y complementado con 25 aplicaciones de Radioterapia y Quimioterapia.

Después de 16 meses de remisión, en el control de agosto 2025, lamentablemente se confirma la reaparición del tumor local de la enfermedad.

El equipo médico indicó que es necesario iniciar con el tratamiento de 1era línea con esquema Folfirinox, planificado con 6 ciclos de tratamiento y reevaluacion de respuesta a este esquema de tratamiento, para intentar detener o evitar el avance del cáncer.

El costo estimado para poder cumplir con todo el tratamiento es de 25.000 dólares, una cantidad que nuestra familia no puede cubrir sola.
